Food p0rn mostly. I like to cook grain-free/gluten-free/low carb meals. If I get my act together, maybe I'll even link some of the recipes.

Grain-free zucchini bread

The lighter one is made with coconut flour.
The darker one is made with almond flour.

Both yummy!

Blackened fish and salad

Fish should've been the focus but I guess I was excited to eat.  ;)  Fresh salad featuring greens and squash from my garden!

A "kitchen sink" soup

Made from leftover rotisserie chicken, leftover grilled corn, carrot tops (yes the green stuff) and various bits of this or that from my fridge and garden. Yum! :)

Summer squash "noodles' with meatballs

Poached duck egg over mashed cauliflower and side of sausage

I put the leftover mashed cauliflower to use here!  And poached eggs for the first time ever.

Grilled steak with salad and mashed cauliflower

Second try at mashed "something other than potato".  I microwaved the cauliflower until soft and then stuck it in the blender with some garlic, cream and butter.  Came out pretty well!

Berry pancake!

Grain-free berry pancake made entirely from eggs.  Topped with berries and banana.  On the side is a mixture of cottage cheese and plain greek (full fat!) yogurt with more bananas.  Mmmm

Grilled steak and salad

Nothing like eating a hunk of meat with fresh salad.

Berry crumble (grain-free)

Berry crumble with a dollop of greek yogurt and more berry juice.  The crumble is just ground up nuts baked in the oven.  :)

Grain-free banana bread french toast with scrambled eggs and bacon!

Slow cooked pork and kale

Slow cooked pork and kale with a side of mashed kohlrabi.  Okay, because I only had ONE kohlrabi, I added in leftover cauliflower and some very old sunchokes sitting in our fridge.  :X  It turned green because (silly me), I blended all of that together with some green onion.  Oops.

Beef and kale curry

Beef and kale curry over cauliflower "rice".  :)

Leftover breakfast...yum!

Here's a breakfast I made with the previous night's leftovers.  The leftovers were the steak and roasted beet/root veggies.  I just added the fried egg and some fresh greens from my garden.  Love it!

Stir-fried snow pea, snap pea and radish pods!

Straight from my garden!  Radish pods are yummy.  I let my radishes flower and form pods.  I planted the radishes too closely so they were never really worth eating other than for the greens (which are absolutely delicious, by the way).

Primal Quiche - with beet greens and sausage!

My first ever attempt at making quiche.  It's also primal-friendly (grain-free).  Yum!

Ribs, grilled fava beans, beet greens and coconut bread

CSA and Homegrown

Nothing more satisfying than eating vegetables that you grew...or that a local farmer grew.  ;)
